IWC in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

Situation. We saw an opportunity to connect IWC and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom by linking the popular film and comic character to the IWC Aquatimer dive watch line.

What BRANDVIEW did. We worked with IWC to create bespoke prop watches for the film's two villains, Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) and Dr. Stephen Shin (Randall Park). IWC's experimental division, XPL, which drives developments in areas like advanced materials, led the development, leading to bespoke prop watches that glow red for Black Manta and blue for Dr. Stephen Shin.

Result. The film, which made over $440M worldwide at the box office and debuted at #3 on Netflix's global Top 10 when it reached the service, featured over 2 minutes of watch footage for a value of nearly $13M according to BRANDVIEW's media tool. IWC promoted its partnership through a digital campaign and in-person events, both highlighting a limited edition watch Aquatimer Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month in two versions, each limited to 25 pieces, which sold out.

Jacob & Co. Palatial Classic watch on Braxton, played by Jon Bernthal, in The Accountant 2

Jacob & Co. in The Accountant 2

Situation. The production needed an impressive timepiece for Braxton, the character played by Jon Bernthal.

What BRANDVIEW did. Through our ongoing dialogue with production contacts, we learned they were looking for the right watch. We presented Jacob & Co. options to the prop master, coordinated fittings with the costume team, and shipped the watch for on-screen use. We also supplied a second piece as a double for stunt work and continuity backup. The conversations started months before a frame was shot, while the character was still being built on the page.

Result. The Jacob & Co. Palatial Classic appears across multiple scenes, totaling more than eight minutes of screen time, and is named directly in the dialogue. The Accountant 2 reached nearly 80 million viewers in its first month on Prime Video after a theatrical run. By BRANDVIEW's own media value model, the placement generated more than $8M in value. As of July 2026, Concave valued it at over $16M.

Ant-Man presents an employee of the month award in ZipRecruiter's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania spot
ZipRecruiter mobile ad from the Severance campaign reading: We help superb businesses find exemplary hires

ZipRecruiter with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Severance

Situation. ZipRecruiter wanted to build brand awareness and consideration, which led to an interest in partnering with popular films and TV shows to create advertising that gets noticed.

What BRANDVIEW did. We have created multiple partnerships with entertainment IP to present the brand in entertaining and unexpected ways. For Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, we partnered with Marvel Studios to create a hiring story set inside the MCU. To promote the release of the second season of Apple TV's Severance, the brand created a recruiting spot for Lumon Industries, the employer at the center of the show. Monika Shah, then ZipRecruiter's Chief Marketing Officer, called it "a fun, ironic way to promote the show while shining a spotlight on ZipRecruiter's innovative matching technology for job seekers" (Adweek, January 22, 2025).

Result. Both partnerships outperformed previous ZipRecruiter ad campaigns. Focus groups showed higher brand interest, love, consideration, trust, engagement, and ad completion. The Ant-Man partnership drew roughly twice the Gen Z engagement of ZipRecruiter's standard ads. The Severance spot outperformed other creative on a smaller buy and drove its highest buzz online and in the media.

Instacart with Lessons in Chemistry

Situation. Instacart wanted to turn the cooking at the center of Lessons in Chemistry, the Apple TV series starring Brie Larson, into a reason to shop.

What BRANDVIEW did. We brokered a partnership for Instacart with the Apple TV series Lessons in Chemistry, creating a branded experience on the app and website that lets its millions of users shop for every ingredient in the recipes featured on the show with one click. The campaign ran from October 2 to November 24, 2023. Co-branded assets promoted tune-in and sent viewers to a campaign hub with nine shoppable recipes from the show, including the Perfect Lasagna, the Garden Galette, and Bananas Foster Flambé. Paid media used Instacart's performance formats themed to the series, with the show's key art, talent, and footage, across YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. Owned channels added the show's entertainment to the Instacart experience across the app, the App Store, CRM, and organic social.

Result. The campaign was promoted with a paid media program, including influencers who shopped on Instacart to recreate recipes from the show. Engagement ran 32% above Instacart's benchmark on YouTube and 33% above on push notifications, and the campaign drew a higher average click-through and engagement rate overall. On Instacart's organic social channels, as reported by the brand, likes rose 72%, shares 933%, and saves 188%.

DICK'S Sporting Goods and Play It Forward: Game On

Situation. As youth sports funding and participation decline, DICK'S has identified storytelling as a way to reconnect with communities and consumers. Grounded in the belief that "sports change lives," the brand launched Cookie Jar & A Dream Studios to create the next generation of great sports stories.

What BRANDVIEW did. We help DICK'S find, fund, and co-produce sports narratives. The latest, Play It Forward: Game On, is a six-episode unscripted series on Nickelodeon. Renee Montgomery, CBS Sports analyst and two-time WNBA champion; Kel Mitchell, two-time Emmy-nominated actor and Nickelodeon alum; and YouTube star Jesser go undercover to make over under-resourced youth sports teams. While they distract the unsuspecting kids, Kristen Garmey, Director of the DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation, leads the transformation behind the scenes, from uniforms and training gear to full field upgrades.

Result. The slate includes multiple documentaries, two docuseries, and an unscripted series, with more on the way. Play It Forward: Game On premiered November 19, 2025, on Nickelodeon. According to Nickelodeon, it held and at times grew the audience from its lead-in, Slimetime, and outperformed the other Nickelodeon shows that aired in its timeslot over the previous year.
